About our Professional Training

Teaching Methods and E-learning

All training is organised based on a personal initiative, or a company request. We customise every single training based on your specific goals, current challenges, role and critical scenarios. Any specific requirements you have in terms of learning preferences, difficulties or handicaps will also be reviewed, together with your preference for course duration and timings during the week.

We will always do our best to accommodate specific learning preferences with our customised materials and training sessions.

Our trainings comprise a mix of speaking, listening, reading and writing exercises to promote effective, well-rounded language acquisition. We combine live teaching with homework activities such as e-learning videos, listening comprehension, grammar exercises and speaking projects for maximum engagement and efficient skill-building.

You'll be provided access to e-learning materials on the Zenler platform and we'll keep track of your progress as you progress through the videos and end-of-module quizzes. We use powerpoint presentation slides to guide you through the live sessions and you can access these on Google Drive after the session. You can edit and download materials throughout the course and at the end of the course. Please note that course materials are for your use only and should not be distributed further. Thanks!

Assessment and Tracking

Evaluation, feedback and tracking are fundamental elements of our training, helping us to ensure that you get maximum benefit from our trainings. Throughout the training we will keep you continuously updated on your progress and and improvement focus areas. The evaluation and tracking activities are organised as follows:

a) When you contact Peak English, we will ask you to complete a questionnaire indicating your current level and specific challenges in English. We'll ask you to join an introductory meeting, where the trainer will make a short assessment of your current English level, and identify gaps in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

b) Before the start of the training, we will ask you to complete a pre-evaluation and do a few speaking and writing activities (and for 45 hour trainings we'll include the Bright pre-evaluation). We'll give you feedback before you start, pointing out specific focus areas that we'll work on during the course.

c) During the live training sessions, you'll be continuously assessed, with exercises such as vocabulary recall, reading fluency, listening comprehension and role play for spontaneous speaking. You'll benefit from live feedback, tracked for you after the session in a tracking document in Google Drive.

d) At the end of each module, you'll do evaluation in the form of multiple choice questions covering specific vocabulary and grammar points, video projects and role play.

e) At the end of the training, you'll do a final assessment, which takes the form of role play exercises, multiple choice assessment and for 45 hour trainings, you'll also complete a 2 hour Bright assessment.
