Our group English lessons for young learners are designed to provide the opportunity for every child to begin mastering English from an early age. In our international city of Chamonix, speaking English opens the door to new friendships, opportunities and adventures and we are delighted to offer small group classes with quality teaching to our youngest learners.
English Classes for Kids in Chamonix
Method
Our young English learners from CE1 to CM2 get the opportunity to experience English from a young age, through games, stories, songs and craft activities. All activities are designed to encourage the children to develop their English-speaking skills.
Our English teacher is an experienced primary school teacher and aims to help each child realize their potential in the language, encouraging them to enjoy learning English together. Each week the children will take a journey together in English, discovering different cultures, ideas and ways of life through their new language.
They will meet lots of new characters as they follow the Cambridge English Curriculum, a renowned English program that children love. Children will also have the opportunity to take Cambridge English certificates if they wish, to recognise their hard work and progress!
Times and location
Classes will take place from the start of the 2024/2025 school year, on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
Classes for children last 1 hour and take place in the bright and spacious rooms of the Intercommunal Music and Dance School in the center of Chamonix, during the school term. Places are limited to 8 per group for maximum progress for each child.

English Classes for Teens in Chamonix
Method
English skills are essential for young people and our courses are designed to boost our students' progress in the language, with a focus on English-speaking skills.
Our students will follow the renowned Cambridge English curriculum with activities covering the full range of skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing and will have the opportunity to take Cambridge English exams to demonstrate their level in the CEFR .
In our small collective groups, students have the opportunity to develop and strengthen their vocabulary, grammar and English pronunciation with the support of their English teacher.
Our courses provide a positive and encouraging learning environment where students gain the confidence to express themselves on a wide range of topics, to think, listen and speak English.
